The silent struggle: Barriers preventing women in BiH from reporting abuse

MOSTAR, February 25 (FENA) – Violence against women in Bosnia and Herzegovina remains a serious social issue. In 2024 alone, 12 women have died as victims of femicide. However, the country still lacks a unified registry of domestic violence or the number of victims, making it even harder to understand the scale of the problem and for institutions to respond appropriately.
