SARAJEVO, March 28 (FENA) - Delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Safet Softić, expressed his fear that, as he said, all initiatives will "go in vain" given the relations in that House.

The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH did not adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in BiH Institutions, as well as the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Road Safety Basis in BiH, and the discussion on excise taxes and VAT was withdrawn from the agenda.

Therefore, Softić expressed his fear that everything will "be in vain", and this is where it is shown, as he said, "that HDZ and SNSD, together with Cvitanović, have the crucial majority of eight votes, and I fear that all these initiatives will go in vain".

"If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse. This is a very ungrateful excuse that today Nikola Špirić and Dragan Čović offered to us as delegates in the House of Peoples,“ said Softić.

He said that the Croat Caucus voted against everything and on every occasion, they were either against or abstained.

"Their explanations are aimed at making the work of this House meaningless and that, in a way, the accent is thrown back on the topics that the public receives every day from such policies,“ he said.
