Agency: IDDEEA and ITA BiH lack legal basis for part of personal data processing

SARAJEVO, June 22 (FENA) – The Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued two separate decisions permanently prohibiting the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) and the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ITA BiH) from processing personal data for the purpose of issuing qualified electronic certificates for electronic signatures, with an exception for IDDEEA in procedures involving digital signing in the field of identification documents.
