BANJA LUKA, September 4 (FENA) – At today’s session, the Council of Peoples of Republika Srpska failed to reach an agreement on launching the mechanism for the protection of the vital national interest of the Bosniak Caucus. As a result, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Referendum and Citizens’ Initiative and the Decision on Calling a Referendum will be considered by the Joint Commission of the RS National Assembly (RSNA) and the Council of Peoples, and subsequently by the RS Constitutional Court.
