SARAJEVO, September 21 (FENA) – The accumulated inadequate action in the area of institutional care for older persons, the lack of a comprehensive and systemic approach in line with international standards, combined with the growing need for this service, is leading to violations of the rights of this population, jeopardizing their safety and, in some cases, neglect and abuse, the Human Rights Ombudsman Institution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has warned.
