Mine clearance in BiH: Progress made, but the goal remains distant

SARAJEVO, April 4 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina was heavily contaminated with mines, with 4,200 km² of its land affected. So far, around 3,400 km² have been cleared of mines. Approximately 820 km² remain to make BiH completely mine-free by 2034.
