OSCE: Increased threats to media freedom, law reform and decriminalization of defamation are crucial

SARAJEVO, December 31 (FENA) - Journalists in BiH regularly face intimidation and violence and are often exposed to attacks, threats and lawsuits that adversely affect their ability to report objectively and consistently. All these circumstances limit their right to freedom of the media and freedom of expression, it is the assessment of the OSCE Mission to BiH regarding the state of the media and media freedoms in BiH in 2023.
