SARAJEVO, March 13 (FENA) - The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, with the full support and consent of the Association of Citizens of Victims of the War "1992-1995", sent a request to High Representative Christian Schmidt to remove Lidija Bradara from the position of President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, they request that she be prohibited from performing any official, elective or appointed public function, due to obstructions and jeopardizing the implementation of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They state that on March 10, 2023, in a television interview, Bradara repeated her position that she does not renounce her friend, war criminal Dario Kordić, concluding that he "probably ceased to be a war crime convict" after serving his sentence.

Also, she stated that in the hall, probably referring to the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, there were "potential convicts for war crimes or who committed war crimes sitting there, but it is not known about that".

The association emphasizes that Bradara, as one of the high-ranking persons in the BiH government since the establishment of the Dayton Peace Agreement, must have known that the affirmation and glorification of legally convicted criminals by the ICTY/IRMCT represents undermining and acting against the legal framework of the Dayton Agreement and undermining the activities of the international community. in order to achieve peace and reconciliation in BiH and the former SFRY, that the affirmation and glorification of war criminals is punishable according to the Criminal Code of BiH and FBiH, especially after the intervention of the High Representative in 2021 regarding the protection against the denial of judgments of international and domestic judgments.

"Mrs. Lidija Bradara showed the intention and impudence to affirm and glorify Dario Kordić, a war criminal, for a long time, even though she was warned for many years, and the domestic and international public condemned her actions. We invite you to immediately use your powers and to remove Bradara from all state and political positions and to prohibit her from political engagement," the Association announced.
