SARAJEVO, September 7 (FENA) - Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amir Zukić, signed today in Sarajevo contracts with representatives of local communities on the allocation of non-refundable incentives for the projects "Construction of entrepreneurial zones" and "Development of documentation for the establishment of entrepreneurial zones" for 2022.
Zukić stated that 21 local communities met the criteria of the public call and that 13 first-ranked communities will receive funds.
"A total of 248 new workers will be employed and 13 new small and medium-sized enterprises will be moved into those entrepreneurial zones," specified Zukić.
He added that the longest deadline for the realization of those projects is 10 months and that he expects everything to be completed relatively quickly.
The signing was also attended by the FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, who pointed out that solving the problems of the economy and businesses is a priority of the FBiH Government.
"To date, we have opened around 60,000 new jobs, one-sixth of which are in crafts, which makes this sector the fastest growing when it comes to employment," said Novalić.
The total value of the contracts, for which grant funds are provided in the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, amounts to 1,850,000 KM, and local communities will invest their funds in the total amount of 1,550,000 KM.
