Representatives of EU Delegation's office and police attachés visit Federal Police Administration

SARAJEVO, June 21 (FENA) - Representatives of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) - Office of the Special Representative and International Police Attachés paid a working visit to the Federal Police Administration and talked with Deputy Director Ensad Korman and his associates, the FUP said.

The security situation, improvement and strengthening of police cooperation at the international level and exchange of information with the aim of preventing and combating crime, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and at the international level, were discussed at the meeting.

The Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration informed the guests about the competencies of that security institution, the difficulties in its work, as well as the more important activities it is currently carrying out.

The focus was on the activities of the Directorate in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, violent extremism, human trafficking, cybercrime, and inter-cantonal crime, as well as cooperation with other police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Deputy Director Korman expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and more efficient exchange of operational information, and thanked for the assistance so far in order to improve security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
