BANJA LUKA, February 17 (FENA) - A member of the parliamentary group "Together for BiH" in the RS National Assembly Senad Bratić said that today’s special session of the entity parliament on the Constitutional Court of BiH is unnecessary.
"The RS National Assembly is dealing with something that is not within its competence," Bratić told reporters in Banja Luka.
He said he regretted that the proponent of the RS Law on Agricultural Land did not take their comments into consideration when adopting the law, so the BiH Constitutional Court had to react, which found that its Article 53 was not in accordance with the Constitution.
“The owner of state property in the territory of both Entities and Brčko District is the State of BiH. The BiH Constitutional Court did not take away anything or give anything, but only assessed the violation of constitutionality in the RS Law on Agricultural Land,” said Bratić.
He will also point to this at a special session of the entity parliament on anti-Dayton activities of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
A consultative meeting of RS political party leaders was held in Banja Luka today, and Bosniak representatives were not present nor invited.
