CBI 2026 at UNSA - Young scientists explore particle accelerator applications for WB challenges

SARAJEVO, October 6 (FENA) – Using particle accelerators to reduce harmful cadmium levels in raspberries, improve cancer treatment, enable local production of radioisotopes for PET/CT imaging, and more precisely monitor environmental pollution are the four projects developed by young scientists from across Europe at the University of Sarajevo as part of a special edition of the international Challenge Based Innovation (CBI) 2026 program.
