Share of older population rising in BiH, stronger support systems needed

SARAJEVO, October 1 (FENA) – Nearly one in five residents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is over the age of 65, while 23.5 percent of Bosnia and Herzegovina's population is over 60, highlighting the need to develop sustainable support models for older people and expand services promoting healthy and active ageing.
