SARAJEVO, October 28 (FENA) – According to expert estimates, Bosnia and Herzegovina has lost more than a third of its population from 1991 to the end of 2024 — the most drastic decline among all European countries. Negative natural growth, population aging, delayed parenthood, and mass emigration threaten to undermine economic and social development seriously. Experts warn, however, that current measures and strategies are neither sufficient nor adequate to reverse these trends.
