BIHAĆ, September 2 (FENA) – Women from rural communities in Bihać, Cazin and Velika Kladuša are interested in the problems facing their communities and want to participate in addressing them, but a lack of information, strong political influence, patriarchal norms and concrete obstacles in the candidacy process discourage them from taking a more active role in the work of local community councils, according to discussions with more than 260 women conducted by the "Glas žene" (A Woman's Voice) Association.
