Sarajevo marks Remembrance Day for 1,601 children murdered during siege

SARAJEVO, May 6 (FENA) – The Institute for the Development of Pre-University Education and the Association of Parents of Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo gathered numerous primary and secondary school students at the event 'Let There Be No War', marking the Day of Remembrance for the Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo. The memorial to the children killed during the siege of Sarajevo (1992–1995) today became a place of remembrance for those whose childhoods were violently cut short.
