Rising water levels expected on Spreča and Sava rivers, flood risk warning issued

SARAJEVO, April 7 (FENA) – Due to new rainfall, increased inflow from upstream and downstream watercourses of the Modrac reservoir, as well as the release of larger quantities of water from the reservoir itself, a further rise in water levels is expected today and tomorrow at the Karanovac hydrological station, which could lead to flooding of land and facilities along the Spreča River.
