Water levels rise across Sarajevo Canton as civil protection monitors situation

SARAJEVO, January 6 (FENA) – Due to heavy snowfall followed by rain, an increase in the water levels of the Miljacka, Bosna, and Željeznica rivers has been recorded in Sarajevo Canton since last night. As confirmed by the Director of the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration of Sarajevo Canton, Dženan Brkanić, the situation is being continuously monitored and, for now, there are no major threats to the population.
