Buljubašić: Production in mines key to stability of the FBiH energy system

SARAJEVO, August 10 (FENA) – General Manager of Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine (EPBiH) Sanel Buljubašić, in an interview with FENA, warned about serious challenges in supplying coal to thermal power plants, pointing out that in the first six months of this year, deliveries reached only 73 percent of the contracted quantities, while overburden removal (removing solid material to access coal) stood at 46 percent of the planned level.
