Bećirović: Final judgments of independent judicial institutions must not be subject to debate

FENA Press release, Photo: Archive

SARAJEVO, August 3 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina is a democratic, legal, independent, and sovereign state where all citizens must be equal before the law. A fundamental obligation is to respect the rule of law and the rulings of independent judicial institutions, including the second-instance verdict of the Court of BiH, which confirmed the first-instance ruling against Milorad Dodik. Final rulings of independent judicial institutions must not be subject to debate—they must be implemented, said Denis Bećirović, member of the BiH Presidency, in a statement to the media regarding the appellate verdict against Dodik.
