UN, OSCE, EU welcome FBiH’s efforts against gender-based violence but regret narrowing of amendments

SARAJEVO, July 24 (FENA) - The United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UN in BiH), the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSCE Mission to BiH), and the EU Delegation/Office of the EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU in BiH) welcome efforts by authorities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) to enhance protection for victims of gender-based violence in FBiH, including domestic violence, as demonstrated through adoption of the Amendments to the Criminal Code of FBiH (Amendments).
