Patten at UN commemoration: Genocide denial is an insult to victims, survivors, and humanity

NEW YORK, July 8 (FENA) – Pramila Patten, Acting Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on the Prevention of Genocide, stated in her address at the commemoration held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, marking for the first time the International Day of Remembrance of the Srebrenica Genocide, that this day is dedicated to the victims and survivors, as well as to the ongoing struggle for truth, justice, and remembrance.
