Tributes to Srebrenica mothers: 'Mothers' exhibition and 'Mother's Scarves' open in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, July 8 (FENA) – The exhibition 'Mothers' by New Zealand artist Nour Hassan opened last night at Sarajevo City Hall as part of the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. Alongside it, the art installation 'Mother's Scarves' was also unveiled, symbolically representing the scarves and shawls worn by the mothers, sisters, and wives of Srebrenica, as well as by other women across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and the world, in everyday life and especially during commemorations for their loved ones.
