SARAJEVO, May 15 (FENA) – The 8th International Furniture Fair SARAJEVO 4 WALLS, one of the most important events in interior design and the furniture industry in Southeast Europe, was officially opened today in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital. Over the next four days, the Olympic Hall Zetra will serve as the epicenter of innovation, creativity, and business networking.
The fair, organized by the PROFI TEAM agency and the Spiritus Association, is one of the largest and most significant economic events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year’s edition has attracted a record number of exhibitors—over 320 companies, designers, and brands from 15 countries, ranging from Bosnia and Herzegovina to as far as the People's Republic of China. The fair showcases the latest trends in furniture production, modern solutions for residential and commercial interiors, and innovations in sustainable design and smart living.
Visitors will have the opportunity to preview exclusive new collections, meet local and international brands, and attend presentations held throughout the event.
The theme of this year’s fair, “4 Walls, a Thousand Ideas,” emphasizes the importance of aligning aesthetics and functionality in the home, while also promoting a responsible approach to design and production. Sustainability, the use of natural materials, multifunctional pieces, and solutions tailored to urban lifestyles dominate the exhibition spaces.
A special segment of the fair is dedicated to promoting local production and supporting small and medium-sized manufacturers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are increasingly gaining ground in regional and EU markets thanks to their quality, design, and adaptability.
Organizers emphasize that one of the fair’s key goals is to create a bridge between manufacturers, designers, distributors, and end users, while also positioning Sarajevo as an important regional hub for the creative industries.
The fair is open until May 18, and the entrance fee is 2.00 KM.
