SARAJEVO, January 26 (FENA) - In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 4,500 girls were vaccinated against the human papillomavirus (HPV) in 2024. HPV is a key cause of cervical cancer. While this recommended immunization shows a good response, it is important to note that approximately 80 women in the Federation of BiH die each year from this preventable disease.
