SARAJEVO, August 24 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina is nearing completion of a comprehensive LiDAR mapping project covering its territory, worth around €1.8 million and funded by the European Union, which is expected to provide institutions with a more precise basis for infrastructure planning, monitoring landslide and flood risks, managing forests and agricultural land, and improving air traffic safety.
