CEC BiH member Arnautović clarifies provisions related to the institute of mandate suspension

SARAJEVO, November 21 (FENA) – Suad Arnautović, a member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, told FENA that the institution has recently received numerous inquiries from elected municipal and city councilors, as well as from elected representatives in legislative bodies at the entity and state levels, regarding the new legal provision introduced into Bosnia and Herzegovina’s legal framework through recent amendments to the Election Law. These amendments, introduced by the High Representative on March 26 this year, pertain to the institute of "mandate suspension."
