Civil society organizations: Proposed amendments to Election Law must comply with BiH Constitution

SARAJEVO, April 3 (FENA) – The leadership of the Council of Civil Society Organizations for the implementation of the Declaration on Constitutional Reforms, which was signed not only by NGOs but also by representatives of the academic community, appellants before the European Court of Human Rights, and numerous political parties, including People and Justice and Our Party, warns that the current discussions on the method of electing members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which these parties are also participating, completely deviate from the text of the Declaration they signed and publicly committed to, the Council stated.
