WHO supports BiH in implementing the immunization program related to measles outbreak

SARAJEVO, January 25 (FENA) - The health authorities in the Tuzla Canton have declared a measles epidemic in the municipalities of Tuzla and Živinice, with several cases also reported in the Sarajevo Canton. The office of the World Health Organization in Sarajevo, as well as the regional office of the WHO for Europe, will continue to support the public health authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of immunization programs and surveillance of vaccine-preventable diseases.
