SARAJEVO, August 28 (FENA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, wrote a letter today to the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman, because of the information he received about enormous queues forming at numerous border crossings between Bosnia and Herzegovina and of the Republic of Croatia.
In the letter, the Minister stated that during the meeting with Minister Grlić-Radman and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, he discussed, among other things, the issue in question, and received assurances that the Croatian side would do its part in order to overcome all such situations, especially considering that the Republic of Croatia has become part of the Schengen zone.
"I am asking you to make additional efforts to try to solve the mentioned problems faced by the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia," the letter reads, among other things.
