SARAJEVO, July 14 (FENA) - The Association of Genocide Victims stated that the rampage and arrest of Mirsad Omerović by the RS MoI during the days of commemoration of the genocide in Srebrenica has shown for the umpteenth time that the victims are still unprotected and continuously exposed to brutal attacks from the smaller BiH entity.
The Association "Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves", the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, the Association "Women of Podrinje", the Association of Mothers of Srebrenica and the Association of Women of Srebrenica stated in a joint press release that the voice of the victims wants to be silenced forever through repression and force from those responsible for multiple joint criminal enterprises and genocide.
"Bosnian politics must finally activate all state and political mechanisms to protect us. The last activities of BiH Presidency member, Denis Bećirović, who clearly and precisely pointed out the most dangerous strategy from the smaller BH entity - attacks on the victims and clearly and loudly denounced those who stand behind the said strategy and who protect criminals and deny genocide, is a political and state road map for all in Bosnia and Herzegovina," it is said in the announcement.
They added that Denis Bećirović's actions, attitudes and perseverance in the protection of universal values, victims and judicially determined truth, should be an example and role model for all those who exercise power in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Association of Genocide Victims is calling on the High Representative to dismiss Milorad Dodik, Lidija Bradara and Sanja Vlaisavljević for denying the genocide and supporting war criminals.
They point out that they provide full support to Denis Bećirović and all the united Bosnian forces to persevere in their state and political struggle and their demands in the interest of all those who have BiH at heart.
