BANJA LUKA, July 4 (FENA) - President of the Bosniak People's caucus in the Council of Peoples of the entity of Republika Srpska, Alija Tabaković, confirmed to FENA that today at a session of that club, they will probably make a decision to withdraw all the activities they initiated regarding the Bosniak veto on the Law on non-publication of the decisions of the High Representative in the Official Gazette of the RS, but also the veto they announced on the Law on non-implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the territory of the entity of RS, considering that the High Representative Christian Schmidt annulled those laws.
Tabaković states that any further activities related to those laws would be the beginning of entering into a criminal offense, given that the HR also amended the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Asked what he expects at the session of the Council of the Peoples, Tabaković says that it would be correct for his colleagues to support them, but he believes that they will not, given that the practice so far has been that what the National Assembly of the RS adopts, the clubs of Serbs, Croats, the Others and three Bosniaks from the SNSD vote for such decisions, following the decisions of the RSNA.
"This is about the election of a member of the Board of Appeals. The law has been violated, given that the legal procedure clearly dictates that the members must be assigned from the constituent peoples. We had one Bosniak, but the RSNA appointed a candidate from among the Serb people, meaning that the law was clearly violated," said Tabaković.
