ZENICA, June 6 (FENA) - As part of the EU4AGRI project, which is financed by the European Union, the "Domestic Products Fair" opened today in Zenica, and new refrigerated showcases and stalls for the sale of agricultural products were promoted in the area of the Public Enterprise "Tržnica" Zenica.

The European Union is financing the aforementioned project with 20 million euros, and the City of Zenica is only one of 12 local governments that received financial support for the improvement and development of rural/local market infrastructure as part of this project, which is implemented and partially co-financed by the United Nations Development Program in BiH (UNDP) and the Czech Development Agency.

"This is a project worth 360,000 KM, and this time we chose 'Tržnice' with the agricultural production.

The City of Zenica continuously and increasingly allocates funds for incentives to farmers in all segments. I believe that it is necessary because it is additional income for many citizens of this city, said the mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović, who noted that this is a large donation from the EU to the citizens of that city.
