Another citizens' protest in front of OHR later today as PIC Steering Committee session takes place

This event, originally announced for yesterday, was postponed by the organizers, among other things, due to the announcement that a session of the Steering Committee of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) will also be held today.

The Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina told the FENA that the PIC session will be a regular one, at the level of ambassadors.

The announced peaceful civic protest in front of the OHR headquarters, according to the organizers, was motivated by dissatisfaction with the secessionist announcements of the President of the entity of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the actions of the incumbent HR in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt.

The protests are supposed to start at 16.30 hrs. and last for two hours. The protest is not envisaged as an opportunity for promotion or self-promotion of any party or non-party organizations, but the microphone will be provided exclusively for addressing the citizens, announced the organizers, the informal citizen group "ReSTART".

The organizers also point out that addresses from both entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been announced so far.

This is not the first protest gathering in front of the OHR headquarters recently, as the last one was held on March 31.
