SARAJEVO, March 13 (FENA) - Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, said today that they are currently focusing on adopting the budget of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of BiH for this year.
She says that knowing the conditions within Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was not easy to prepare a budget proposal for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023, "considering that we had not even adopted the Global Fiscal Framework".
“But we made the budget proposal and I hope that the Council of Ministers will adopt it at one of the next sessions and send it to the proposer, the BiH Presidency, which should then send it to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH,” stated Krišto.
She thinks that this is also a significant step forward for relations, opportunities and the functioning of BiH institutions.
“We already have a certain number of legal proposals in preparation, which are also an obligation from the Opinion of the European Commission. They concern the department of justice, in the sense of laws relating to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and some other laws in the field of democratization, human relations in terms of the rule of law and the functioning of BiH as a legal state,” said Krišto at the press conference after the meeting with Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob.
