SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in January amounted to one billion and 401 million KM, which is 5.9 percent more than in January last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 844 million KM and are higher by 7.6 percent compared to January last year.
The imports-exports coverage was 76 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 443 million KM, the BiH Statistics Agency (BHAS) announced.
Exports to CEFTA countries in January amounted to 276 million KM, which is 7.9 percent more than in January last year, while imports amounted to 195 million KM, which is 6.7 percent more. The imports-exports coverage to CEFTA countries was 141.3 percent.
BiH’s exports to EU countries amounted to one billion and 24 million KM, which is 4.2 percent more than in January last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 82 million KM, which is 17.5 percent more than in January last year.
The imports-exports coverage to EU countries was 94.6 percent.
