The rescue team from Konjic heading to Turkey to help with recovery efforts

MOSTAR, February 10 (FENA) - The Prenj Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) team traveled to the Republic of Turkey this morning to contribute to saving human lives and supporting Turkish search and rescue efforts, and addressing the needs of those injured and displaced by the earthquakes.

 

The mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić sent off proud and determined fellow citizens, who make up the fourteen-member team, wishing them a happy journey, successful rescue activities, and a happy return to Konjic to their homes and families.

"Thanks to everyone who is with us in these moments, giving us the strength to live up to the task we have set before ourselves," GSS Prenj stated.
