SARAJEVO, December 28 (FENA) - An MP of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Branislav Borenović called the exposé of Borjana Krišto (HDZ BiH), who was appointed today by the House as the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "just a light political pamphlet" which does not contain any important, specific economic topics.
"I am talking about the abolition of excise tax for the period of six months, the reduction of fuel prices and the reduction of the VAT rate, in order to make at least the basic necessities of life cheaper, which is of interest to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have the feeling that this is a continuance of the old policy that will remain and nothing concrete will happen," stated Borenović.
He notes that "apparently, a compromise has been reached behind the scenes, and that there was no courage to write a few sentences about NATO path for Bosnia and Herzegovina."
"I have a feeling that their positions are more important than fulfilling the promises made to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on which the life of every citizen and business of this country depends. The abolition of excise tax on fuel and the reduction of VAT are the two most important issues in BiH at the moment," concluded Borenović.
