SARAJEVO, November 28 (FENA) – Today, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an order for an international warrant for Sakib Mahmuljin, the former commander of the Third Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was sentenced to prison at the end of April, the Court confirmed in a statement to FENA.
The Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced him to a single prison sentence of eight years in connection with the crimes committed in 1995 in Vozuća and Zavidovići.
Since Mahmuljin did not show up on November 23, when he was supposed to be sent to serve his sentence, the court issued an international warrant for his arrest.
