SARAJEVO, October 30 (FENA) - Representatives of the opposition parties from the entity of Republika Srpska submitted on Saturday to the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina a complaint due to incorrect application of substantive law, the incorrect and incomplete established factual situation and the incorrect application of procedural law.

As the president of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) Branislav Borenović said, they do not intend to give up and will continue the fight, as he said, for truth, justice and the rule of law.

He expressed the hope that the CEC or the Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will make a decision to annul the elections in all constituencies in the RS because there were irregularities during the counting and voting that affected the results of the election for the entity president.

He explained that in the event of such a decision, the elections for that level of government will have to be repeated within 14 days, which is clearly prescribed by the BiH Election Law, and Borenović emphasizes that hundreds of documents and evidentiary materials were submitted with the appeal, as well as facts for which he claims are indisputable and irrefutable.

"We hope that such a decision would be justified and that in this way the integrity of the electoral process and democratic norms would be protected. In the event that such a decision is not made, then we expect that the CEC and other competent institutions face sanctions. The decision should be made in five days at the latest and in three days at the earliest," underlined Borenović.

The complaint was submitted by representatives of the PDP, the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) and the List for Justice and Order of Nebojša Vukanović.
