SARAJEVO, October 7 (FENA) - President of the People and Justice Party Elmedin Konaković said that the 'Troika' in Sarajevo Canton received a minimum of 18 mandates and they are waiting for the 19th from the diaspora.

As a member and part of the coalition, Damir Marjanović received a mandate, so they have 19 or 20 mandates.

“It is a clear message, we have data that show that the Troika received more than 50 percent of the trust of the voters who went to the polls. This means that they are satisfied with the work of the current Sarajevo Canton Government. Nothing special needs to be changed here,” said Konaković in a statement for FENA. These results show that we received 15,000 more votes compared to the 2018 elections.

On the other hand, as he said, the SDA as the opposition recorded a drop of 15,000 votes.

“The messages of the voters are clear here. We said that we are open to other parties who want to participate in the government based on the principles or the concept set by the Troika, and we have nothing against it,” Konaković said in a statement for FENA.

He added that they don't accept any blackmail nor do they need anyone to form the government, but we have nothing against those parties that are parliamentary to join this train which, obviously, to the satisfaction of the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, continues.

In the coming days, he will talk to some of the party leaders.

According to the preliminary results published by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in this year's General Elections at the level of the Sarajevo Canton, People and Justice Party (NiP) and Party of Democratic Action (SDA) received the greatest trust from the citizens.

People and Justice Party got 32,745 votes or 18.71 percent and SDA got 32,539 votes or 18.59 percent.

They are followed by: SDP BiH 27,292 votes (15.60 percent), Party for BiH 21,644 (12.37 percent), Our Party 20,621 (11.78 percent), Željko Komšić-For a civil state DF/GS 15,697 (8.97 percent), For new generations 6,694 (3.83 percent), NES 5,270 (3.01 percent) SBB BiH 4,493 (2.57 percent).
