SARAJEVO, August 18 (FENA) - The average monthly net salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June this year amounted to 1,126 KM and was nominally higher by 8.1 percent compared to December last year, and higher by 13 percent compared to June last year.
The lowest average net salary was in accommodation services, food preparation and serving and amounted to 730 KM, in construction it amounted to 819 KM, while the average net salary in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles amounted to 879 KM, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.
Employees in financial and insurance activities had the highest earnings in the month of June and amounted to 1,770 KM, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,659 KM, and in the field of information and communication technologies 1,625 KM.
The average monthly gross salary in BiH for June this year amounted to 1,728 KM and was nominally higher by 7.7 percent compared to December last year, and higher by 11.9 percent compared to June last year.
