SARAJEVO, December 22 (FENA) – Climate change represents a significant threat to global food security, poverty reduction, and sustainable development, with agricultural food systems responsible for 31 percent of human-caused emissions since 2016. These emissions stem from deforestation, livestock farming, and food waste, which exacerbate global warming and disrupt agricultural food systems through unpredictable weather patterns, extreme events, and increased pest outbreaks.
