SARAJEVO, July 27 (FENA) - At today's session, the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not adopt the request of MPs from the Bosniak Caucus for urgent consideration of the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Compensations in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which foresees that after the recent increase of salaries of employees in BiH institutions by 12.4 percent, reduce the coefficient for employees and appointed and elected persons with a coefficient of four and more by the same percentage.
Delegates in the BiH PA House of Peoples decided to send that legal proposal into the regular procedure.
In the first reading, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Compensations in the Institutions of BiH was adopted, according to which new coefficients are determined for the largest number of employees in the institutions of BiH, including members of the Armed Forces and Police Forces of BiH. At the beginning of March, the House of Representatives adopted this legal proposal, proposed by MPs Nikola Lovrinović, Borjana Krišto, Predrag Kožul, Darijana Filipović and Mijo Matanović.
