MOSTAR, June 30 (FENA) - An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was registered in Herzegovina on Thursday morning at 8.07 am, the Center for Seismology of the Hydro-Meteorological Institute confirmed for FENA.
According to the first information from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter was 24 kilometers northwest of Mostar.
The quake was felt throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in Croatia and Montenegro.
The Center for Seismology states that this earthquake can be classified as stronger and can cause material damage.
