SARAJEVO, June 8 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik told reporters that the budget of BiH institutions, proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers, was accepted at an extraordinary session of the body.

According to the budget proposal, 12.5 million KM are planned for holding this year's elections in the country, he confirmed.

After yesterday's imposed decision of the High Representative for BiH Christian Schmidt on financing the elections in the stated amount, Dodik claims that the Minister of Finance of BiH tried to say that 12.5 million KM is approved exclusively by order of the High Representative, which was not accepted bit the Presidency approved the budget proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers.

Therefore, says Dodik, Schmidt's decision was unnecessary, and the BiH Presidency establishes order with its decision, and the budget proposal will be sent to the BiH Parliamentary Assembly today, so the Central Election Commission can dispose of election money after the budget is approved by the assembly.

In his address to the press, Dodik also stated that Christian Schmidt is illegally in the position of High Representative in BiH and, accordingly, a person who should be deported from the country in accordance with the legislation on foreigners.

Explaining what else happened at today's session of the Presidency of BiH, Dodik states that the Chairman Šefik Džaferović and member Željko Komšić did not accept that more of Dodik's initiatives were on the agenda.

One referred to the requested authorization of the BiH Council of Ministers to join the Open Balkans initiative, the other to Dodik's proposal to remove Sefik Dzaferovic because he, in Dodik's words, "destroys BiH's foreign policy by advocating personal views", and the third to condemn Christian Scmidt's decisions. since he is "a person who misrepresents himself."

Dodik's fourth initiative to supplement the agenda, which was also not accepted by Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic, was for Bosnia and Herzegovina to take a neutral stance on the sides of the war in Ukraine.
