SARAJEVO, February 24 (FENA) - Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vojin Mitrović held a working meeting today with a delegation of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) consisting of Deputy Director General for the Balkans Cai Huabing, Director of the Sector for Balkan tenders Hao Shaobo and Business Development Director Milan Marinović.
The topic of the meeting was the current state of infrastructure projects and the construction of future road and railway infrastructure.
Apart from the importance of the Vc corridor, Minister Mitrović spoke to representatives of the Chinese company about the construction of expressways in BiH, i.e. part of the highway through the Brčko District, then from Brčko to Vukosavlje and the Foča - Šćepan Polje road.
The Minister also informed the CCEECC representatives about projects planned in the future concerning the railways, such as the Zvornik - Tuzla and Doboj - Šamac railways and the Tuzla - Brčko - Vinkovci railway, which has been updated recently.
This Chinese company has expressed interest in coming to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina and participating in infrastructure projects that were the topic of today's meeting, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH announced.
