SARAJEVO/DUBAI, November 4 (FENA) - Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vojin Mitrović visited the Huawei Exhibition Center in Dubai, where he was welcomed by Huawei's Director-General for BiH, Xu Kun and a company delegation.
During the visit, the delegation of the Ministry had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technologies and discuss the importance of technological innovations in terms of reducing costs and increasing energy efficiency and the potential benefits of 5G technology for various industries.
Mitrović informed Huawei representatives that the Ministry he leads, in cooperation with domestic and international partners, is making additional efforts to pass new legislation, as well as strategic documents needed to achieve the desired goal to enable digitalization and implementation of 5G network in the future.
"Huawei, as a global leader in the field of information and communication technologies, is present in more than 170 countries and regions around the world, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than 10 years, and can offer a significant contribution to the process of digitalization in BiH. Also, the application of 5G technology in certain countries has already shown the importance of digitalization for both the economy and the environment," said Minister Mitrović.
