SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - The Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton organized today a tourist tour from the City Hall to the bobsled track on Trebević, as part of marking of the 38th anniversary of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
Armina Pijalović from the Meet Bosnia Tour agency, which participated in the organization, said that they wanted to mark the anniversary in this way because it is necessary to remember and work for the future.
“Tourist workers in Sarajevo have not forgotten the bobsled track and Mount Trebević and we come regularly with guests, and today we want to promote our mountains and the Sarajevo Canton,” said Pijalović.
She added that the trail is now used for walking and as a "graffiti gallery", but they hope to attract even more guests.
Pijalović pointed out that the renovation of the cable car significantly contributed to the reunion of Sarajevo and Trebević, which the tourist workers intend to follow up.
The organization of the tour was also helped by the ZOI '84.
