SARAJEVO, December 29 (FENA) - The Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes has filed an indictment against a total of nine indictees charged with war crimes committed in the village of Zijemlje, between Nevesinje and Mostar, in the summer of 1992.
Former commanders and members of the RS Army are charged with crimes against Bosniak victims from the Nevesinje area, where they murdered some 100 victims, including dozens of women, elderly people, babies, just 15 days, old to children two years of age.
Almost the entire families of Ploskić, Šipković, Aličić, Alibašić, Mahinić, Brajević, Čopelj and other victims were killed in this war crime. The remains of 49 people have been found, while the remains of 47 victims are still being searched for.
The prosecution will prove the allegations in the indictment by summoning 88 witnesses, eight of whom will testify with the protection measures granted, one expert witness and 116 pieces of material evidence.
The indicted persons are: Zdravko Kandić (1957) from Mostar; Dragan Đurđić (1967) from Doboj; Dragan Ivanišević (1963) from Nevesinje; Goran Došlo (1967) from Mostar; Milan Trifković (1967) from Mostar; Siniša Kandić, (1970) from Mostar; Dragoslav Aćimović, (1970) from Mostar; Mladen Kandić (1962) from Mostar and Damir Antelj (1967) from Mostar as well, stated the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
